In this region, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site, the winegrowers of the appellation have given the Chenin grape variety its letters of nobility.
The AOC brings together no less than 150 estates, spread over 2,300 ha, which are spread over 8 communes: Tours, Vouvray, Chançay, Noizay, Reugny, Rochecorbon, Vernou sur Brenne, Parçay Meslay.
